Denmark: Manufacturing activity bounces back in October
Manufacturing production expanded 1.3% month-on-month in seasonally adjusted terms in October, rebounding from September’s 0.4% decline. Looking at the details of the release, October’s turnaround was primarily driven by a rebound in non-durable consumer goods and stronger investment goods production.
On a seasonally adjusted annual basis, manufacturing output rose at a faster rate of 8.4% in October (September: +2.8% yoy). Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with annual average manufacturing production growth falling to 11.5% in October (September: +11.7%), which marked an over one-year low.
