Denmark: Inflation picks up in March
According to Statistics Denmark, consumer prices increased 0.1% in March over the prior month, down from the 0.5% rise registered in February. More expensive clothing and fuel costs led to higher prices in March compared to the previous month, which more than offset cheaper prices for electricity and airfares.
Inflation edged up to 1.2% in March from 1.1% in February. Meanwhile, annual average inflation also inched higher to 1.0% in March from February’s 0.9%.
