Denmark: Inflation softens in September
Consumer prices fell 0.3% over the previous month in September, following August’s 0.4% dip. According to Statistics Denmark, the drop was driven by lower prices for rent, which contrasted higher clothing prices.
Inflation eased to a six-month low of 0.6% in September, down from 1.0% in August, while annual average inflation slipped to 0.9% from 1.0%.
