Denmark: Inflation ticks down in May
According to Statistics Denmark, consumer prices decreased 0.1% in May over the month prior, down from the 0.3% rise registered in April. The decline was mainly driven by lower prices for leisure and culture; housing; and clothing and footwear.
Inflation ticked down to 0.7% in May from 1.0% in April. Meanwhile, annual average inflation edged down to 0.9% from 1.0% in April.
