Denmark: Inflation increases in November
Inflation increased to 0.6% in November from October’s 0.1%. Looking at the details of the release, the acceleration was driven by prices for housing and utilities and for transport declining at slower paces in November. Meanwhile, food and non-alcoholic beverages price growth softened.
Still, the trend pointed down, with annual average inflation coming in at 4.0% in November (October: 4.6%). Meanwhile, core inflation fell to 3.0% in November, from October’s 3.3%.
Finally, consumer prices fell a seasonally adjusted 0.34% in November over the previous month, contrasting October’s 0.26% rise. November’s result marked the weakest reading since August.
