Denmark: Inflation stable in July
Consumer prices rose 0.8% month-on-month in July, contrasting June’s 0.1% decline. According to Statistics Denmark, July’s figure was driven by higher prices for services—particularly leisure and culture; and restaurants and hotels. In contrast, prices for goods declined on sharply lower clothing and footwear prices.
Inflation came in at 1.1% in July, unchanged from June’s print, while annual average inflation was also steady at 1.1%.
