Dominican Republic: Economic activity growth deteriorates in May
Economic activity grew 4.3% compared to the same month a year earlier in May, which was a deterioration from April’s 7.8% increase.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, economic activity fell 1.3% in May (April: +5.1% mom). Meanwhile, the trend improved slightly, with the annual average growth of economic activity coming in at an over one-year high of 3.8%, up from April’s 3.6% reading.
