Dominican Republic: Economic activity expands at quickest pace since March 2022 in February
Economic activity grew 6.2% compared to the same month a year earlier in February, which followed January’s 4.6% increase. February’s result marked the best reading since March 2022.
On a monthly basis, economic activity increased 2.2% in seasonally adjusted terms in February, rebounding from January’s 1.6% fall and marked the best result since April 2021. Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average growth of economic activity coming in at 3.1%, up from January’s 2.7% reading.
