Dominican Republic: Economic activity growth speeds up to seven-month high in July
Economic activity rose 2.9% in year-on-year terms in July, which was above June’s 0.1% increase. The print marked the best reading since December 2022.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of economic activity coming in at a two-year low of 2.5%, down from June’s 2.7% reading.
Lastly, on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, activity grew 1.4% in July, swinging from the previous month’s 1.3% decline.
