Ecuador: Consumer prices dip in annual terms in December
Consumer prices were stable over the previous month in December, following their 0.7% drop in November. Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages, and restaurants and hotels fell, while prices for recreation and culture, and transport rose.
Meanwhile, consumer prices fell 0.1% in December, following November’s flat reading. Lastly, the annual average variation in consumer prices remained at 0.3% in December.
