Estonia: Industrial production growth rises in February
According to Statistics Estonia, annual working day-adjusted industrial production growth edged up to 4.5% in February from 4.1% in January. The latest print was underpinned by a marked acceleration in manufacturing production and a notable rebound in the mining sector. This more than offset a notable contraction in energy output, which contrasted a significant upturn in the previous month.
On a seasonally-adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production declined 1.1% in February, contrasting a 0.3% rise in January. Meanwhile, the annual average growth in industrial output inched up to 4.0% in February from 3.9% in January.
