Estonia: Inflation edges up in June
Consumer prices rose 1.17% in June over the previous month, accelerating from the 0.94% rise logged in May. June’s figure was the sharpest increase in prices in over two years. and was chiefly driven by rising prices for transportation, housing and entertainment.
Inflation edged up to 3.8% in June, following May’s 3.6% and marked the highest inflation rate since October 2018. Meanwhile, the trend pointed up, coming in at 0.4% in June (May: 0.0%). Harmonized inflation rose to 3.7% in June, from May’s 3.2%.
