Estonia: Inflation edges up in November
Consumer prices fell 0.2% over the previous month in November, following a 0.1% month-on-month decrease in October. A breakdown by components provided by Statistics Estonia showed that lower prices for transport, alcoholic beverages and tobacco and clothing and footwear drove the result, more than offsetting higher prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Inflation rose to 1.8% in November, from a 35-month low of 1.6% in October. Meanwhile, annual average inflation edged down to an over two-year low of 2.4% in November, (October: 2.6%).
