Estonia: Inflation falls in November
Consumer prices fell 0.5% from the previous month in November, contrasting October’s 0.5% increase. A breakdown of the sub-components showed that 7 of the total 12 saw a fall in prices, led by lower prices for transport which more than offset higher prices for housing.
Inflation slowed to 3.4% in November, from an over six-year high of 4.4% in October, marking the lowest reading since May. Meanwhile, annual average inflation edged down to 3.4% in the same month, from 3.5% in October. In a similar fashion, harmonized inflation fell to 3.2% in November, from 4.5% in the previous month.
