Estonia: Harmonized inflation drops in November
Harmonized inflation came in at 4.1% in November, down from October’s 5.0%. Looking at the details of the release, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased at a more moderate pace in November. Additionally, housing and utilities price pressures moderated, while prices for transportation dropped at a sharper rate.
Annual average harmonized inflation fell to 10.2% in November (October: 11.6%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation fell to 4.0% in November, from the previous month’s 4.9%.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices rose 0.02% over the previous month in November, contrasting October’s 0.48% drop.
