Estonia: Harmonized inflation falls in February
Harmonized inflation came in at 4.4% in February, down from January’s 5.0%. The moderation was largely driven by softer growth in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Accordingly, the trend pointed down, with annual average harmonized inflation coming in at 7.0% in February (January: 8.1%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation fell to 4.2% in February, from the previous month’s 4.7%.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices increased 0.12% over the previous month in February, below January’s 1.26% increase.
