Estonia: Inflation moderates in September
Consumer prices fell 0.2% over the previous month in September, contrasting a 0.7% month-on-month increase in August. A breakdown by components showed that lower the prices for transport, housing, and food and non-alcoholic beverages more than offset significantly higher prices for clothing and footwear.
Inflation fell to 2.2% in September, from 2.4% in August. Meanwhile, annual average inflation ticked down to 2.8% from 2.9% in July.
