Finland: Inflation remains stable in October
Consumer prices inched up 0.10% in October over the previous month, after September’s flat reading. Looking at the details of the release, the print reflected higher prices for transport, housing, and clothing and footwear, although those were partly offset by lower prices for health services and food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Inflation came in at 0.2% in October, matching September’s reading. Meanwhile, the trend remained unchanged, with annual average inflation coming in at 0.4% in October. Lastly, harmonized consumer prices edged up 0.1% in October, following the flat reading recorded in September.
