France: Industrial output slows in February
Seasonally- and working-day-adjusted industrial production rose 0.9% over the previous month in February, decelerating from January’s 1.1% expansion. The slowdown reflected easing manufacturing output amid nearly-muted production of machinery and equipment goods.
On an annual basis, however, industrial production fell 1.4% (January: -2.8% year-on-year), while the annual average variation in industrial output logged minus 0.3%, inching down from January’s minus 0.1%.
