France: Inflation hits highest level since July in November
Consumer prices rose a seasonally-adjusted 0.22% in November over the previous month, swinging from October’s 0.04% fall, according to a preliminary reading by the Statistical Institute (INSEE). November’s reading marked the sharpest increase in prices since July and largely reflected higher price pressures for food.
