Ghana: Inflation hits four month high in July
Consumer prices rose a seasonally-adjusted 1.63% from the previous month in July, picking up from June’s 0.30% increase. July’s result was mainly due to quicker price growth for food.
Inflation came in at 9.0% in July, up from June’s 7.8% result and marking the highest rate since March. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with annual average inflation coming in at 9.5% in July (June: 9.7%).
