Ghana: Inflation declines to lowest level since March in October
Consumer prices rose a seasonally-adjusted 0.21% in October over the previous month, swinging from September’s 0.20% drop. The print reflected a notable uptick in recreation, sport and culture; housing, equipment and maintenance; and transport prices.
Inflation edged down to 10.1% in October, easing slightly from September’s 10.4%. October’s reading marked the lowest inflation rate since March. In addition, the trend pointed down, with annual average inflation coming in at 8.3% in October (September: 9.4%).
