Greece: Industrial output falls in March
Industrial production decreased 1.3% month on month in seasonally adjusted terms in March (February: -1.7% mom). Looking at the details of the release, electricity supply output gained momentum, while manufacturing production dropped at a faster pace in March. Meanwhile, water supply output dropped.
On an annual basis, industrial production fell 0.6% in March (February: +1.6% yoy), the worst result since July 2023. Moreover, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 2.6%, down from February’s 2.7%.
