Greece: Industrial production accelerates in July
Industrial production growth accelerated from a working-day adjusted 1.2% annually in June to 1.9% in July. The expansion was propped up by a solid increase in mining and quarrying output and robust growth in manufacturing output.
Meanwhile, on a month-on-month basis, industrial production accelerated for a third consecutive month in July, growing 4.9% in working-day adjusted terms from a revised 4.1% increse in June (previously reported: +4.0% month-on-month). Lastly, annual average growth in industrial production ticked down to 1.6% in July from 1.7% in June.
