Greece: Industrial production growth inches up in November
Industrial production expanded a working-day-adjusted 0.8% in November compared to the same month of the previous year, which was slightly above October’s revised 0.7% growth (previously reported: +0.5% year-on-year). November’s result was driven by a rebound in manufacturing production and healthy growth in electricity output. However, mining and quarrying output and water supply contracted in November.
Industrial output fell 1.6% in November over the previous month in working-day adjusted terms, which was a smaller contraction than October’s 3.7% drop. Annual average growth in industrial production inched down from October’s 4.4% to 4.3% in November.
