Greece: Industrial production slows in June
Industrial production expanded a working-day adjusted 1.2% annually in June, decelerating from May’s revised 1.7% expansion (previously reported: +2.0% year-on-year). The moderation in output came chiefly on the back of softer growth in electricity production.
On a month-on-month basis, however, industrial output accelerated in June, growing 4.1% in working-day adjusted terms from a revised 4.0% increse in May (previously reported: +3.2% month-on-month). Meanwhile, annual average growth in industrial production inched down to 1.7% in June from 1.8% in May.
