Greece: Unemployment rate falls in September
September’s data points to an improvement in labor market conditions. The number of employed people increased by 55,173 compared with August, while the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 10.0% from August’s downwards revised 10.6%.
Meanwhile, the number of unemployed decreased by 24,549 relative to August. Moreover, the number of individuals outside the labor force decreased by 32,923 compared to August, representing a 1.1% drop.
