Guatemala: Inflation eases in February
Consumer prices fell 0.40% month-on-month in February, down from the 0.24% drop in January. The print was driven by a significant drop in transportation prices, while food and housing prices also declined.
Inflation, meanwhile, moderated from 1.8% in January to 1.2% in February, moving further below the Central Bank’s 3.0%–5.0% target range, with the annual average inflation rate easing to 3.2% from 3.5%.
