Hong Kong: Inflation increases in March
Consumer prices increased a seasonally-adjusted 0.30% in March over the previous month, accelerating from February’s 0.20% rise.
Inflation came in at 1.8% in March, up from February’s 1.7%. March’s reading was the highest inflation rate since December 2021, and came on the back of faster food price inflation. Annual average inflation rose to 1.7% in March (February: 1.6%).
