Hong Kong: Inflation rises in November
Consumer prices increased a seasonally-adjusted 0.20% in November over the previous month, matching October’s reading. Looking at the details of the release, the change in the prices for housing was largely stable in November, although prices for transportation rose at a slower pace. Meanwhile, utilities price growth softened.
Inflation came in at 1.9% in November, up from October’s 1.8%. Annual average inflation rose to 1.3% in November (October: 1.1%).
