Hong Kong: Inflation declines to lowest level since March in June
Inflation came in at 1.9% in June, which was down from May’s 2.0%. June’s reading marked the weakest inflation rate since March, and was driven by softer price pressures for transport and utilities.
Annual average inflation remained at May’s 2.1% in June.
Finally, consumer prices rose a seasonally adjusted 0.19% from the previous month in June, swinging from May’s 0.19% fall.
