Hong Kong: Inflation drops to lowest level since September in December
Inflation came in at 2.4% in December, down from November’s 2.5%. December’s figure marked the weakest inflation rate since September, and was driven by lower price pressures for food, clothing and utilities.
Annual average inflation was unchanged at November’s 2.1% in December.
Lastly, consumer prices rose a seasonally adjusted 0.09% in December over the previous month, contrasting November’s 0.09% drop.
