Hungary: Industrial production growth eases in October
Industrial production grew a working-day-adjusted 6.4% in October, down from September’s 9.0%, according to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office. October’s moderation largely reflected slower production growth in the manufacture of transport equipment and of computer, electronic and optical products.
In seasonally- and working-day-adjusted terms, industrial output fell 0.4% month-on-month in October, contrasting the 3.1% expansion logged in September. Lastly, annual average growth in industrial production rose from 5.8% in September to 6.1% in October.
