Hungary: Industrial production picks-up pace in April
According to preliminary data released by the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH) on 6 June, industrial output rose a working-day adjusted 2.9% year-on-year in April, coming in above the meagre 1.9% increase recorded in March.
In month-on-month seasonally- and working-day adjusted terms, industrial production rose 0.2% in April, contrasting a 0.7% contraction recorded in March.
Annual average growth in industrial production moderated from 5.0% in March to 4.9% in April. A second estimate will be released on 13 June.
