Indonesia: Inflation stable in September
Consumer prices dipped a seasonally-adjusted 0.04% over the previous month in September, contrasting the 0.03% rise logged in August. Falling prices for food, beverage and tobacco were mainly behind the reading.
Inflation came in at 1.6% in September, matching August’s print. Meanwhile, the trend was also unchanged, with annual average inflation coming in at August’s 1.5% in September. Lastly, core inflation was also unchanged at August’s 1.3% in September.
