Ireland: Consumer confidence decreases in August

Consumer confidence fell to 63.2 in August from July’s 64.5.

Consumers became more pessimistic about the current and future state of the economy, as well as about their personal finances over the past and future year. More positively, they became less pessimistic about their willingness to make major purchases.
