Ireland: Consumer sentiment hits highest reading since March 2022 in July
Consumer sentiment rose to 64.5 in July from June’s 63.7. July’s result was the strongest since March 2022.
Consumers became less pessimistic about the current and future state of the economy, as well as about their willingness to make major purchases, driving the improvement in the index. Less positively, consumers became more pessimistic about their personal finances over the past and future year.
