Ireland: Industrial output rebounds in January
Industrial output rose 9.2% in month-on-month seasonally-adjusted terms in January, which contrasted December’s 12.3% decrease. January’s notable pickup was largely due to a notable rebound in modern and traditional sector production.
On an annual basis, overall industrial production rose 19.7% in January (December: -11.7% yoy). Moreover, the trend improved, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 18.5% in January, up from December’s 17.2% reading.
