Ireland: Manufacturing production growth eases in July
Manufacturing output increased 8.8% month-on-month in seasonally-adjusted terms in July, a softer expansion compared to June’s 14.3% increase.
July’s reading was largely driven by a slowdown in modern sector output. In contrast, traditional sector production gained steam compared to the previous month.
On an annual basis, overall industrial production grew 12.9% in July, significantly above June’s 5.0% expansion.
