Israel: Consumer and business sentiment worsen in October
The consumer confidence index dropped from minus 8.3 in September to minus 9.2 in October. The result reflected a deterioration in consumers’ views of their personal financial situation and the economic situation of the country. However, their expectations regarding household savings improved, likely buttressed by a rosier outlook on the labor market.
Lastly, business sentiment inched down from 23.4 in September to 22.6 in October.
