Israel: Consumer sentiment improves in August, while business optimism remains unchanged
Confidence among Israeli households improved from minus 13 in July to minus 10 in August. The uptick in sentiment was driven by a more upbeat outlook regarding the general economy and households’ own economic situation. Households also grew less pessimistic about their ability to save.
Meanwhile, business sentiment was unchanged at 24 in August, remaining well in positive territory and likely underpinned by solid economic momentum.
