Israel: Manufacturing PMI decreases in July
The Bank Hapoalim/IPLMA Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) came in at 47.4 in July, down from June’s 52.1. July’s result marked the worst performance since November 2023. As such, the index dropped below the 50.0 no-change threshold, signaling a deterioration in manufacturing sector operating conditions from the previous month.
The headline print reflected weaker readings for employment, exports, local orders, raw materials purchases and output.
