Israel: Manufacturing PMI falls in June
The Bank Hapoalim/IPLMA Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) fell to 48.2 in June from May’s 50.2. June’s result marked the weakest reading since March 2022. As a result, the index dropped below the 50.0 no-change threshold, signaling a deterioration in manufacturing sector operating conditions from the previous month.
June’s reading was driven by sharper contractions in export orders, raw materials purchasing and employment, and softer local orders growth.
