Israel: Manufacturing PMI increases in December
The Bank Hapoalim/IPLMA Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) came in at 49.2 in December, up from November’s 47.1. As a result, the index moved closer to the 50.0 no-change threshold, signaling a softer deterioration in manufacturing sector operating conditions compared to the previous month.
The headline print reflected faster rises in local orders and output, and softer falls in exports, employment and raw material purchases.
