Italy: Business confidence moderates in August
Business confidence fell to 114.2 in August from July’s 115.9. As a result, the index remained above the 100-threshold, separating optimism from pessimism among businesses.
The headline print reflected a deterioration in firms’ views of confidence in the construction sector and of confidence in the manufacturing sector.
