Kazakhstan: Industrial output growth dips in July
Industrial output rose 2.7% in year-on-year terms in July, which was a deterioration from June’s 10.5% increase. The figure came on the back of weaker manufacturing; mining and quarrying; and gas, steam and air conditioning output growth. On the contrary, water supply and waste management growth gained pace.
Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 1.5%, up from June’s 1.1%.
