Kazakhstan: Industrial output growth rises to a four-month high in February
Industrial output expanded 5.7% in year-on-year terms in February, a four-month high and above January’s 3.4% increase. February’s notable pickup was largely driven by faster growth in energy supply and manufacturing production. In addition, mining and quarrying output gained steam.
Accordingly, the trend pointed up, with annual average industrial production growth rising to 4.8% in February (January: +4.5%). This signals an improving trend in the industrial sector.
