Kazakhstan: Industrial output growth jumps in July
Industrial output growth more than doubled to 3.5% year on year in July from June’s 1.7% increase. July’s reading marked a five-month high. Looking at the details of the release, the upturn was due to faster growth in manufacturing output plus rebounds in water supply and mining and quarrying. That said, the energy supply sector lost momentum.
