Kazakhstan: Industrial output growth eases in June
Industrial output growth slowed to 1.7% year on year in June (May: +2.1% yoy). The reading was largely due to weaker manufacturing output growth. In addition, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply production lost pace. Meanwhile, mining and quarrying, and water supply contracted at a softer pace.
Accordingly, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 3.9%, down from May’s 4.6% reading.
