Kazakhstan: Inflation rises to over one-year high in February
Consumer prices rose 0.6% month-on-month in February, edging down from January’s 0.7% print. Easing price growth for food and services drove the monthly slowdown, according to the Statistical Institute.
Inflation logged 6.0%, up from January’s 5.6% outturn and marking a 17-month high. Annual average inflation, meanwhile, inched up to 5.4% from 5.3% a month prior.
